Key functions with consistency

ooMicroglia selectively phagocytose pHrodo Red-labelled Zymosan particles. The red fluorescence indicates successful engulfment, triggered by a pH shift.

Key phagocytic and cytokine secretion functions

Day 10 male donor-derived ioMicroglia (io1021S) and the Alzheimer's disease model ioMicroglia APOE 4/4 (io1032S) were incubated with 125nM Hilexa488-Amyloid Beta1-42 for 20 hours. Images were acquired every 30 mins on the Incucyte® and percentage of phagocytosis calculated based on fluorescence. Three technical replicates were performed.
