  • ioGlutamatergic Neurons | Rapidly maturing, functional, consistent excitatory neurons.
  • APP V717I | Disease-related phenotype demonstrated by increased ratio of Að›½42:40 peptides vs. wild-type control.
  • PSEN1 M146L | Disease-related phenotype demonstrated by increased ratio of Að›½42:40 and Að›½42:38 peptides.

²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù-Glutamatergic-Neurons-APP-V717I-Abeta42-40-ratio-quantification

Increased ratio of Að›½42:40 seen in APP V717I neurons, as observed in Alzheimer’s diseaseAPP V717I disease model

ioGlutamatergic Neurons show increased production of Aβ38 and Aβ42 peptides, with no change in Aβ40 levels. This leads to a higher Aβ42:40 ratio, while the Aβ42:38 ratio remains unchanged.

Cells were cultured for 30 days. Aβ peptide levels were measured and normalised to cell number. Data are from two independent experiments. Statistical analysis showed significant differences at days 20 and 30 (*p<0.05, **p<0.01, ***p<0.001).

PSEN1 M146L disease models recapitulate an increase in amyloid beta peptide ratios observed in Alzheimer's disease patients

PSEN1 M146L disease model ioGlutamatergic Neurons show higher Aβ42:40 and Aβ42:38 ratios compared to wild type control.

Cells were cultured for 30 days, and Aβ peptide levels were measured in the supernatant. Data represent two independent experiments. Statistical analysis confirmed significant differences between clones (*p<0.05, ***p<0.001, ****p<0.0001).

A maximum number of 20 vials applies. If you would like to order more than 20 vials, please contact us at orders@²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù.

With our disease model clone panel, you can confidently investigate your phenotype of interest across multiple clones. Detailed characterisation data (below) and bulk RNA sequencing data (upon request) help you select specific clones if necessary.

“Our major surprise when we first used the ioGlutamatergic Neurons was that after thawing the cells in 384-well format, we could see immediately after 2 days a nice neuronal network, and there was no well to well variability within the same plate. This made our assay quite robust.â€
